I can crash my school's server in 5 seconds flat. Its hilarious.

Yup, forgot about that one; 'its got nothing to do with us, email EMBC'
Uhhh, yes, it does. It says "LOCAL LIST" in huge capital letters on the filter page, which means that YOU set that one, not EMBC.

I don't know how, but one time all of the software on a whole room of computers was lost at my school,

I wouldn't mind, but it was right next to the technicians' office...

If I had the mind to, I could backtrack to the server and just delete any software I please. It's a joke.

How's this for stupid?

Start > Programs > Library > War in Europe

By going up from this folder, you reach the software folder. One more up and you're in the server root and can cause any havoc you so wish. It's a joke.

I'm on VNC at the moment, in ICT.

To access the toot at mine, type in your address bar: \\ and you get the folder with every server the school has. \\long1 is the package server.
Being on  a mac, I get them all down the left hand side of my finder window anyway.

I'll have to try that one at school

Doesn't mean you can do anything with them, though, Raven.  I just like how the PC icons are BSoD'd.
I find that if I don't have a signature, some people disregard the last couple of lines of a long post.

IQ's have really dropped around here just recently, must be something in the water.

Oh yes, it does mean I can do things with them. The package server, for one, allows full access rights. Thats the installers to all of the school's software.
I also have access to every single user area on the network. Its actually quite handy when my friend wants to send me a file or something - because exchange is down most of the time I can just nip into his area and take it. I'd never mess with anyones files though, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I replaced the default desktop once just as a laugh. Just replace the file deep in the NETLOGON thingy-ma-jig. Though after I did that they fixed it and you can't write files to that directory anymore. Why just that directory I will never know, the rest of the server is still open :S
