Their pathing has changed back and forth depending on the patch version, but they're always been able to wander around underwater without issue.

I remember the first time a herd of Maulers came out of the ocean in Sea_battle  and attacked my base...   a total WTF moment...  :)

personally, i don't see the reason why anything can be damaged by water in the first place, it simply doesn't make sense unless it's lava or toxic water..
Hidden Defenders Mod

bigbadbogie

It is meant to destroy any units which get stuck underwater and can't get out.
Others would merely say it was good humour.

My BZ2 mods:

QF2: Essence to a Thief - Development is underway.

Fleshstorm 2: The Harvest - Released on the 6th of November 2009. Got to www.bz2md.com for details.

QF Mod - My first mod, finished over a year ago. It can be found on BZ2MD.com

Red Devil

If you want, you edit the maps to set water to deliver damage over time.
What box???

Clavin12

That would kill men too. But then that's more realistic.

Shadow Knight

Isdf and Scions are already wearing environmental suits, though. How else can they survive unsheltered on Pluto?

It could get gradually crushed by the pressure upon it.

A car wouldn't do very well in a planet with a toxic atmosphere, or no atmosphere at all. A scavenger or recycler, however, is designed to be airtight. How can water get in if it's airtight?

God damit people, stop comparing modern technology to Bio Metal creations.

A car does NOT equal a Hovertank!

But you'd turn a few heads driving around if it did though. :P
