*Cheat/Bug in 1.3*

I'm gunna be away for a lil birt, taking care of some family stuff. However, when I get back I would like to demostrate this bug to someone in the closed beta team, like Speedy, and explain how it is done, so hopefully it will be fixed.

Wouldn't particularly blame him if he did, tho he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to let a 2+ year project go unfinished just because a few unsocialised kiddies want to post rude words at him. Hope he's just having a break.

May I suggest just waiting for Ken Miller or GSH to show up or contact them through private channels such as PM or email. I can't see where telling other players is going to help anything.  The AV chat attack was spread across the entire community when it was described in the changelog, please don't let your new discovery be spread just because you're proud of having found it.

TV, thats why I wanted to only describe it to one of the private beta members, and only one I felt was reliable. Waiting on GSH might be a good idea, but he has never said anything to me both, or replied to any PM's in the past. Not saying that was intentional, he is a busy bloke.

Also, this is an old exploit, which I reported about a year ago now(Wardog should remember it), so I was a little suprised it was still in 13

Where telling someone in the private beta might help. Thats simple TV. It has alot more chance of been seem by GSH/KM if it comes from a private beta tester on his "good list", then it does coming fom me. So *hopefully*, this time it is fixed.

I'm not proud of finding a exploit. Whats to be proud of? Its a simple bug/unintended use. Simple as that. Nothing big.

You could have simply email or pm it to some of the beta or CP team members, no need to post this here in the puplic, init ? Unless you are - oh well.

Why??? Because I posted on these boards a year ago. Was told thank you for finding it, and we will fix it.

also, it is hard to show its effect without SHOWING someone. some people would say, "so what, that won't affect much", until they you show someone, then there "WHOA that blows"

But, if someone trying to HELP out, and report a bug, which can be just as bad as the AV bug, just gets critised as "Unless you are - oh well."

Well, you know what? Everyone here whinges that we are here just to cause trouble, and we get treated like we are crap(note, this stuff is working both ways), then I may as well go the same way as Lizard. Screw you all. Work this stuff out your self.

Move to BF42 its like moving to a dead man. Try UT2004 demo Onslaught mode instead. And stop cry me a river Albino, you know exactly what effect it can have to post something about a not fixed bug in 1.3 beta for the Community and the game at this serious situation. Pretty much of a difference if you posted it a year ago or now exactly at this time. I am convinced you not as dumb to know what a little drop like that can cause now. Either report your stuff to an official hand without showing off to the puplic and begging for compliments or stfu and go an play on the motorway or BF42 or whatever.
