Do you now spawn near the rec, reguardless of where it is deployed in 1.3?

Actually, I think the recycler spawns near you, don't quote me though, if you wish to really know then I can look it up for you.

well, how about both sceanarios, when you spawn with the rec undeployed....

and when you join a game/piolet die after the rec has been deployed.

Technically what I think happens (again don't quote me till I check it), when the first person on a given teamgroup spawns in, they spawn at the teams spawnpoint, the recycler spawns near them, from then on out the TeamSetup[] flag is set saying don't run that function again, and everyone who spawns on that specific teamgroup just spawns, no teamsetup function is run.

I went ahead and checked, yes it does go that way, the SetupTeam() function is called if a joining player is the first person on their repective team, then that function sets the team stuff up, like the recycler (the recycler is spawned as a vehicle, a random 20 to 40 meters from the person), and sets up any other beginning units by any selected in the shell like turrets, scavs, tanks, etc... etc...

Excellent. It was inhibiting having to spawn where your rec orginally did...i can see a map where two teams both have a tug and a few tanks and a rec, and there are 3 spawn areas, One that is near, but only has 1 base pool...and another that is a fair distance away, is a risk to get there, but has two base pools ...and is closer to the enemys starting location.

Basically with this new 1.3 function, the maps could be made to take into acount that people will not 'have' to spawn at the same location always
