can someone explain what the problem is with these?

ive uploaded soem files here that im having huge problems with... ive uploaded the XSI in the hope no one nsays they made it as it is actually from shane wards assimilation mod (which i DO have permission to use =])

now, the problem with this thing is deployment, place it on a blank map in the editor, and try and get it to deploy... it wont... it just aimlessly flies aroudn the deploy spot WITHOUT deploying. is there any way to directly sort this out by modifying the odf or model without making the model much smaller? thankyou.

PLEASE HELP... NEED THIS FOR MY RECY VARIANT! PLEASE NOTE SHIPS ARE NOT YET COMPLETE DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT STUFF...

Deployed for me on IA Dunes in PB4.  Not sure if it supposed to, but deployed in the air.  I think it needs a lot of room.

Also said fbptgen1.odf did not exist.

yeh thats okay, and yeh it IS supposed to deploy in the air, maybe its because im using pb3...

just wait till no.4 comes out i suppose gah, and i didnt include all the files in this thing

If it works for RD without that file, why not try it yourself without that file?

yeh already have done, nout to do with it, the other file is jsut a tap...

all is does is swivel around lots as if it cant reach its deploy point. you can offset the deploy point though cant you?? or is that only in scavenegerHclasS?

Now it drops to the terrain, the selection box goes below the terrain, bumps around, and is uncontrollable.  Post one that has the treads?

Jam, it seems like the xsi for FBPENE.XSI is missing something when I look at the file in notepad. It appears to be missing the
}
}
} at the end of the file. When I look at it in 3DEX 1.5.5 I don't see either the dummy cube or your model geometry. The vehicle xsi looks just fine. Try adding the 3 }'s at the end of the file perhaps that's part of the porblem, but I can't say for sure...BNG PS: Nice models BTW.
When I'm not in hot water with the community I'm usually making models for BZII. I've made a few models for other peeps. BNG.

oh sorry i thought that file had the treads... heres the vehicle one with the treads (both XSIs are the same they just have some parts added/taken away like hp_taps etc)

and thanks BNG, but those are actually from shane wards assimilation mod, he managed to extract them from an example file that came with his modelling program i believe :D

Adding the }}} helped actually.  Now it doesn't sink to the ground.

I think most of the problem is that it's so big and is having trouble finding room due to it colliding with everything.  Tried it on Dunes, so the cliffs tend to get in the way.

they arnt supposed to be visible :S

trying to simulate a hovering vehicle, but it has to deploy into a building... with many taps and guns :D

they will be miniscule, if you open the object in threed youll see what i mean...
