I would suggest an iriver instead. They can do heaps more.

I have a Sandisk Sansa e250 running RockBox.  The normal Sandisk OS royally sucks, even the battery lasts longer when I used RockBox on the thing.  As I recall, RockBox works on some of the iRiver's as well.

AAARRGH!  Why are you getting an effects pedal for your bass?  Basses don't need effects to sound good.  The only pedals I have are an EQ pedal and a tuner.  You don't need anything more than that.  And my EQ pedal I've only used in a show once.  Even if you play grunge where everyone's playing with a distortion pedal, the bass shouldn't.

Not distortion pedal, effects pedal. I've heard all kinds of people do weird stuff with a bass, it sounds pretty cool.

Anyway, by band was originally indie rock, were moving genre, so it would come in handy. bass sounds a bit dull if its all the same.

What model bass do you have?
And messing with the EQs on your amp can make it sound different. :wink:  You can get really cool effects using just the amp.

Ok.  So I'm a percussionist playing mallet instruments.  I play both double and electric bass.  But I don't seem to have the coordination for drums.  I guess it's something about your arms and legs doing something completely different from one another that throws me off.

I'm actually the only person in my band who can sing and play all four instruments - guitar, bass, keyboard and drums.

EDIT: Not all at the same time, though
