Okay, so I've completed a map (in terms of terrain, texture, water, paths, colour and object placement). Now I need someone to tell me how I go about placing spawn points and other things to get the map completely ready for play, or tell me where I can get such instructions. Can anyone do that for me?

A spawn point is the object: pspwn_1.

A strategy map requires 2 of these at the base locations.

That should be it.
Others would merely say it was good humour.

My BZ2 mods:

Fleshstorm 2: The Harvest - Released on the 6th of November 2009. Got to www.bz2md.com for details.

Was there any labeling or teaming that was to be done to cause specific teams to spawn on them?

I would LOVE to know if there was a way you could make team one start on one side and vice-versa every time.

If you want your strategy map to be free for all, make separate spawn points and lock teams to off in the .inf file:

[NetVars]
ivar3 = 0 //teams turned off (on if 1)
ivar11 = 1 //locks teams setting (not locked if 0)

So two of these at each base, then do I move my map to the data\missions\multiplayer folder?

Erm... just ignore this. I've realised that they go in addon\missions\multiplayer for normal bz2, and FEaddon\missions\multiplayer for FE. The teams are supposed to be 1 and 5 aren't they? Also, now I've got another problem. When I load my map in multiplayer, not only can I not see my map pic or description (even though I've created the .DES, bmp and .inf files as I was supposed to) but when I open up my map... there's no textures.

Instant Action = cpu team 5, mpi is team 6.

Don't put spawn points on a team. Just leave them at team 0. They will still work. This way they don't show up on the radar.
