Point is, his IP was added to the banlist. I think that should be up to the players, rather than putting in a comment which may or may not be accurate.

Feared_1

Alright, next time I wont remove it. We can wait until CmptrWz sees it. Fine by me.

Nielk1

It was uncalled for Ac/dc.

Sean is banned here for stealing another modder's work (luckily what he stole was purposely nonfunctional at the time), who didn't know that?

NK, when was this and whose work was it? i knew he had a trait for stealing things... maybe i wasnt around at the time.

hes a troublemaker, or at least he was, and it annoyed GSH enough to place that line in there. Hes NOT banned by default, and IP's can change over time anyway. Im sure hell learn to grow up.

Afew years ago Sean received afew tempory bans in hopes that he would learn to behave on the forums.  Later he received more permanent ban after the tempory bans were lifted for flamming &\or attacking someone on the forum.  Sean did attempt to steal a nonfuntional model & was forced to publicly admit the truth under the post that he claimed to be the creator.  Sean wasn't ever banned for stealing it. Sean was permanently banned for flamming &\or attacking somone on the forum.

SkyNET, Sean's IP was added to the list to give hosts a warning about Sean.  After all, Sean admitted to intentionally lagging out games while both I and GreenHeart were in the chatroom.  His IP address was intentionally commented out hence the //, to warnin hosts that Sean is potentially a destructive player.  I would expect the same treatment for anyone else that intentionally lags out games just to have some fun at the expense of everyone else.

squirrelof09

Well I hope you don't consider banning me for lagging out games just to have fun :).

There is a big difference between having a crappy connection that causes lag and having a good connection while using programs to intentionally cause lag.

Intentionally lagging a game should be a bannable offense.  Having a crappy ISP shouldn't.

GreenHeart

Squirrel your connection isn't half as bad as Sean's connection was that night & all he was basicly doing was sitting next to the recycler the entire time.  I was commanding most of the games so i was able to watch everything he was doing ingame.

I think I was in the IRC room when Sean said he intentionally lagged people though excessively pinging their IPs and other methods.
