The sad thing is, after bashing the hell out of Bush and his policies, Obama will be keeping many of these policies. I am very afraid of his 'share the wealth' plan and am appalled at how his campaign SMEARED Joe the Plumber after all he did was ask an honest question. (Joe did not say he was himself a plumber, and one of the smears was "He isn't even a real plumber, he is not licensed!" The poor man can NEVER go back to his old life AGAIN!)

I do however wish Obama the best of luck and hope he steers the Nation in the right direction. I hope the policies that he keeps from Bush are the right ones, and that his 'share the wealth' ideas are better thought out now that he is in office. Now that he is in office, he will have to actually come up with a plan instead of just claiming he has one and when asked for details oscillate between two insignificant points.

Really, this is his chance and I hope he does well. It is sad that all we hear is how wonderful it is a black man was elected. I would prefer we reacted with a racial indifference to show we are beyond racism, as it makes it seem as if he was elected for his race.

Good luck Obama, try to keep us together. Maybe I will be rooting for '4 more years', but for me at least, you will have to prove yourself (like every other president) not through your words, but though your actions.

so say we all (:P too much BSG)

i fully agree. oscillating between two insignificant points is a good description.

Our fairly recent change in office has left me appalled, i certainly won't be voting for our current leader again. Seems strange seeing different people in charge of the world doesn't it? Hope Obama does better than mr Brown over here...

I think it's - wait for it...wait for it - an Obamanation!
What box???

We must just hope he never goes near a grassy knoll... there are a lot of angry rednecks about, and they're all packin' guns!

It will either be change in America or a new president, sharpish!

*salute* Good luck, Mr. President, Sir

just had to say that :D

Well isn't that funny. Everyone is awful to Bush for his policies, Obama gets briefed, and guess what... SAME POLICIES AFTER THE BRIEFING ON OUR SITUATION! So, stop bashing Bush ppl. I heard some more hootty Bush bashing today. Just because Bush has only Level 1 charisma doesn't mean he is the scum of the Earth.

I am VERY concerned about his experience.

< 1 year experience against a broken economy, 2 wars, and a recession.

You know, allot of people bash the Bush Administration for things, but they don't happen to look that Bush was the president, aka, executive branch. He didn't make the laws, he executed them. The recent laws and decisions like bail outs was made by the majority democratic congress.

Not saying Bush didn't do stupid things, but it is interesting how people ignore the fact that Congress plays a major role in our government and yet they still blame the Republicans when things go wrong...It in fact scares me right now that a single party has control of both Congress and The White House.

Yea I know; the thing is though that no one cares anymore. There's a board I recently joined that has a very ignorent member who thinks that because Obama is in office, he'll unite America and the Muslim world together and that the Jihad against the west will go away in under a year maybe less.

This is borderline stupidity. I mean the man has ZERO experience, he's well hated by our military for how he treated them a year ago, he's also not well liked by most of the financial community and to TOP it off, it seems to think that if he plays nic with the Muslim world and gives them everything that it'll stop the war. What he doesn't realize is that he'll be negotiating with TERRORISTS with people who only care about causing death and destruction to anyone NOT of their religion.

However, while I agree that Bush did do some stupid things he also made great progress in protecting our country that many liberals refuse to recognize. Considering that no president ever in history has had to deal with a terrorist attack? I say he did pretty damn good. The real problem though are foriegn countries who did NOT get attacked by terrorists who seem to think they can dictate what we can and can't do.

There is a reason why we had the civil war, and another reason why we broke away from Britian.

THIS! Is why I wish we would go back into an Isolationist period like before WW2....

Mr.Bush made a small mistake to attack iraq. The truth out there is no hidden nuclear weapons.but found very old missles buried under the mountain without warhead. :-o
Do we have enough money to contiune monitor illegal people across the border? How about homeland security?Money will be gone or cutback.possible..How much money exactly do we have in?100 Trillion dollars?

Kalshion

Actually Hybrid you are wrong.

One of our Abrams units stumbled across a biochemical van that was used to create the biochemical weapons that Saddam used on his own people before we attacked Iraq.

There was also evidence that he was in possession of the means to use a nuclear missile, but didn't have the warheads.

Sadly, neither of these were present in the liberal mass media - so you actually have to SEARCH for them on the net.

Feared_1

The false WMD was not Bush's fault, even though people say it is. He was given false information (which did turn out to be not-so-false).

Nukeless nukes?

And then there is the big warning we gave before the inspectors went in and searched feebly. If I was in control of that country, I would have moved them in that large 'warning' period.
