Does anyone know where I could find any more LOOT maps? It's a fun gametype I never see played.

TheJamsh

not sure if there are any. id like to see some more race maps personally so going to work on that...

wouldn't be hard to convert some DM maps to loot though...

BZII Expansion Pack Development Leader. Coming Soon.

I personally think we could use more maps for both... hell, some completely fresh gametypes would be nice.

Cue NK1 with King and Queen, Chess, and whatever else he's been working on in secret.

Currently I am messing with stuff for Jamsh. I stopped working on the new gamemode ideas because of movement in the 1.3 beta.

I don't like the way the race maps work, a nicer check point that you have to pass under might look better.

I've made my first DM now (its not out because of minor things I want to fix with the 20 or so custom tunnels), maybe I can make a loot.

We can alwasy bring some more into the mod too NK :D

I already had ideas for a couple more...

Im thinking of checkpoints that are effects at the moment... like a big yellow semi circle you have to pass through. If you go backwards a .cfg that says "wrong way" comes up... could work with time & more thought put into it.

That would be easy to do.
Others would merely say it was good humour.

My BZ2 mods:

QF2: Essence to a Thief - Development is underway.

Fleshstorm 2: The Harvest - Released on the 6th of November 2009. Got to www.bz2md.com for details.

I use LOOT: Pleasantville for a giant DM map :P

Gone to college, but I now have internet.

That would be pretty.

Gamemode idea: sandbox. Think GMod. Good for testing assets in MP more easily. Probably not desperately good.

I scrapped the idea of making that when I actually started making DLLs.

Yea, BZ2 does not do well with such things due to its multi-world functionality...

Um...how about because it doesn't have the pathpoints, DLL, or base areas for it?

You can use it for DM because you can set the Kill Limit in Extra Options.

You think you may able to alter?

I have already, a long while back.

It's an OK map, pretty much the definition of mediocre, but it worked.
