Having said that, a lot of people thought that about Tennant, and in my opinion he was the best one.

I reckon Eccleston was the best one.

QuoteTorchwood is kick ass, I was skeptical but I got kinda into it. My only issue is, I'm no homophobe, but I don't like to watch 2 men making out >_<

I just skip those scenes... and there are a fair few of them.
Others would merely say it was good humour.

Oh please...

Tom Baker is the definitive Doctor, although I have to admit that at times I thought Tennant was channeling him...  I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the 'new' shows, despite the fact that very very often I wonder if they truly 'get' the Doctor.

And yes, Torchwood is well worth the watch despite the fact that Capt'n Jack will jump anything that breathes.   :)

I see the new Doctor is following a disturbing trend, he keeps getting younger...

I liked #10 a lot. He had everything. Energy, humor, spontaneity, and some deep underlying damage.

Yeah, the doctor is an alien, so its on topic because we dont know for certain that he doesn't really exist.

It could be that one of his companions who left him sold the idea to the BBC.

If there are aliens, do you suppose they sit around wondering if humans exist? :P

I believe that aliens do exist but not in the way they are commonly portrayed in the media. The fact is that a majority of humanity sees aliens as super advanced races that would like to eradicate every last one of us[i.e War of the Worlds and independance day, although both are very good.] If you take into account the number of earth like planets there are in the galaxy alone, and then take into account the likelihood of those harboring life, then those that support intelligent life, then those that are capable of building an engine of some sort to propel them halfway across the galaxy. If you take in to account all those factors, wouldn't any alien race that discovers us to want to teach us and bring us up to their standards? Because, if they discover a planet like Earth, it would prove to be a vital place to trade and become allies with once, if we are not already up to, their level of technology.
So we only get one chance can we take it
And we only get one life can't exchange it
Can we hold on to what we have don't replace it
The age of innocence is fading..... Like an old dream

Any non aggressive races discovering us, would probably take one look at the way we treat other species and place a security quarantine on the whole planet... :-D
