Title: Neat(?) clipboard tool
Post by: GSH on January 28, 2009, 03:16:51 PM
Someone at work passed around this link: http://bantamtools.com/clipboardcc.aspx (http://bantamtools.com/clipboardcc.aspx) . It's a pay app, but auto-saves images copied to clipboard, eliminating the need to paste it later. Someone might find it useful. Or know of a 100% free alternative.

Link disabled, but I found this:

I downloaded it, scanned it for viruses, tried it, and it works nicely.

Yea, back in the Windows 98 era I got a program that took any image that ever entered the clipboard and saved it as a bitmap.  Honestly, it would be *really* easy to make such a program save any picture that enters the clipboard and save it as whatever format you want, I see no point in paying for such a thing (by really easy I mean it would probably take me thirty minutes to program one, well, maybe 5 if you did not want it 'pretty').

Also, GSH, your link is dead.  :P
