ive had BZII 1.3pb3 running on my machine for AGES. i just tried starting the editor, AND the normal game and for some reason it AV'd stragiht away. it was working FINE and nothing has changed it jsut started doing it...

ive been getting that for years - i still have no clue as to what the hell is doing it
the only way to fix it is to reinstall bz2
Anything in your pilots folder(s)?
I bet your log.ini file got corrupted. COpy and paste the following in that log.

the pilots folder is empty, but this is vista.
and no the log.ini was fine. ill try re-installing it
the problem is still NOT FIXED
i reinstalled and i also tried using the NO-CD patch, but when it came to finding the bzone.exe file, apparently no match was found :S?
does that help?
EDIT: right, i am using vista, and now run the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP service pack 2. now it runs fine. maybe it was one of thsoe stupid windows updates that caused the problem?
I'll AV if there's nothing in the pilot folder, especially if pointing to the custom one.
