Paranormal Activity is a movie that just came out in theaters (even though it's a 2007 movie) and is said to be the scariest movie since "The Exorcist", possibly of all time. Some people said it was dumb and not scary at all. Others say it was absolutely horrifying.

I haven't seen it yet, and I'm debating whether I want to take the time to go see it or not. The trailers are just creepy.

Have you seen it? Is it worth my time to go see it? If you haven't seen it, are you planning on it or are you interested?

A particularly shy friend of mine is having troubles downloading TA5.1.

He is telling me that vista warns him that the download is "potentially dangerous", and doesn't let him do it. I thought this issue was brought up before but nothing came up in a search, so I'm asking again.

Anyone know the problem?

The Battlezone 2 1.3 community project is a mod in which everyone's ideas are compared with each other to ascertain the best outcome. However, this does not mean the BZ2 1.3CP is a free-for-all, as the best outcome in that case will likely be failure of the project. Rules and standards must be maintaned to ensure the success of the project.

• You need to be aware that everything you submit is subject to change and/or rejection.
• No means no. If something of yours is shot down, don't try to bring it back up without a strong reason not previously mentioned.
• If you say no to someone's asset(s), you need to provide a concrete reason as to why you disagree with it being a part of the project
• Nobody in the project has more authority than anyone else. All submissions will be "equal".
• Make sure all assets you submit were created by and belong to YOU. Don't try to submit something that someone else made and claim credit for it.

(Americans:) You don't have to state who you're voting for, I just want to know what you think of both candidates (McCain and Obama).

McCain (Republican): He's quiet, doesn't get too involved, but had some good ideas. He chose a vice presidential candidate with some good plans as well, but where did she come from (where did he get the idea to choose a candidate from Alaska)? He has TONS of experience in the US Military and the government.

Obama (Democrat): Very inexperienced. He is not prepared to become president, in my opinion. He's a smooth talker. He can tell you something and convince you because of how he brings it up. He has some good ideas for the future, but really has no way to go about them. He picked a vice presidential candidate with more experience than Palin, but like McCain, has a hard time speaking his ideas.

If you couldn't tell, I'm going with McCain.

I've asked about this on the Microsoft website, but no one has been able to give me a good answer...

I'm using Windows Update to download and install SP3. Randomly in the middle of the install, I get an error that says "Access is Denied". The people on the Microsoft forums have helped me this far enough to figure out that something is denying Windows Update to delete it so it can't update. Here is what I was told to do by the page that explains "Access is Denied" errors:

Turn off all virus/spyware protection, restart computer - Didn't work
Run reset.cmd (obtained from the help page) - Didn't work
Install the standalone package - Only for more than one computer, so it didn't work
Run reset.cmd in an Administrator's user profile - I'm already using an Administrator's profile, wont work

- download the stand-alone installer.

- use "msconfig" to select "Diagnostic Startup", and re-boot Windows.

- run the SP3 installer you downloaded earlier.

- use "msconfig" to select "Normal startup", and re-boot Windows.

I haven't tried that last one yet, and it might work, but has ANYONE else had a problem like this?

If you're fairly far away from a ship explosion in the game, you can hear the sound come roaring toward you, then away from you.

I just wanted to know what that is, and how you determine whether it is there or not.

When someone kills you in 1-hit kill mode, your screen stays red for like 20 seconds after that, preventing you from being able to see during your "next life".

Can this be changed?

Sorry, but could anyone tell me what is different about 1.3 and 1.3 (2)? I know that the multiplayer is crap, but with the gameplay, I don't see a difference. When you hit the ground you still hear a noise, the AI has really good aim, and the things build the same.

What's the difference between the two?
