Last night was a tiring night for me and working on all sorts of projects I came to the conclusion that modders had to be fanatics.

I created this short movie as a dedication to all of the BZ2 (and BZ1) fanatics who love modding. This is made in the MAD engine by BSer at Orderly Mayhem Games.

Battlezone 2 / BZ2 CR Mod Error

Hi!

Anyone know the reason for this error? I'm developing Cerberi Revenge using 1.3pb4a and it's Mission #4 that's giving me the trouble.

Battlezone 2 / Slooooooowww music

I've been trying to update my mod, Cerberi Revenge to the new 1.3pb4a and I get a strange...bug...if it's even that (as this is a mod).

All the music in the menus play really slow like it's being slowed down by a time dilation or something. :D

Anyone know why it would be doing that? I'm using config files directly from the path13.pak file (and the ones in the addon folder if newer). No, I don't have any duplicate assets.

Battlezone 1 / Music from TRO and BZ1

Hey!

I'm presently at work doing a lot of monotonous typing and copying data, so to liven it up I usually plug in my Ipod that has both BZ1, TRO, and BZ2 music on it. :D

This is more of a muse instead of a discussion, but have you ever noticed how well the two composers of BZ1 and TRO did?

In BZ1, the military was in charge and so the tune was always a military style, but in TRO, they kept that military feel, but threw in a electric guitar that would take over just to show that the Black Dogs are military, but on the wilder, uncontrollable side.

I know I love the soundtracks. :D

Are you scared? You should be as Feared_1 has created a Exlusive DM map for the BZMagazine where you can fight your opponets on the cliffs and valleys of Rock Canyon. A copy of the map is in their for all those 1.2ers AND 1.3ers!

Battlezone 2 / BZ2 XSI Animation Tutorials

I now officially own a copy of 3d Max 6 (legally) and was wondering if anyone can point me to any animation tutorials that BZ2 uses or do they use the default style that the 3d max tutorial book should cover?

It took awhile, but the Fourth issue of Battlezone Magazine has been released featuring an interveiw with Nathan "GSH" Mates!

You'll also notice that two links are provided. The first one is a link to the .pdf file while the other is to a .zip file.

The .zip file contains a goodie bag for all the BZers out there!

Public 1.3 Beta 3 Archive / Lucky Foot Variant Fix

the Lucky Foot Variant Recycler found in 1.3pb3 has a mistake in the odf which I missed catching. To get the Variant to work, you'll need to download this .zip and place the contents (except the readme.txt of course) in your addon directory.

Public 1.3 Beta Archive / Just something I thought of...

Hi,

I'm not on the devteam for 1.3pb2, but I thought I'd mention this. My friends and i on the LAN were playing Battlezone II and I had 4 people on my side. Through the course of the battle I found that if I wasn't paying attention to keep putting units in to there teams that when I built a unit, it placed it in F9 where there already was a Player. I could select the unit or anything.

Does the 1.3pb2 fix this problem to keep F9-F12 having units when in Multi?
