Yep. it doesn't work.
There have been miscelaneous file changes in the public betas that prevents FE working in PB4a. Red Devil is the one working on changing it over, but i think the currently supported (but not entirely bug-free) version works with PB3.
Red Devil... do you need a hand with that BTW?

FE will freeze as soon as it gets done with opening movie or if you decide to try and skip it.
And we're pointing him to FE_PB3 now.

I couldn't get that working.
You have to install FE_PB3 on an install of 1.3PB3. It will not work with PB4a.

There is no .exe file or anything like that in the update RD put on file front.
That's because it doesn't launch from an executable. It uses Mod Manager 5, or you can create a shortcut and launch it from that.
1) Create a chortcut to bzone.exe
2) Right click > Properties
3) Add to the end of the path [SPACE]/config "FE_PB3"
4) Apply the settings
5) Launch the shortcut
APparently it is unable to find FE_PB3.cfg
Double-check that the shortcut is correct, make a new one.
Or just get MM5, it's so much easier.

Tell us what you installed and in what order.
My impression is that this should be the order, with MM5 sprinkled in somewhere.
1) Battlezone II from CD
2) 1.3 Public Beta 3
3) FE for 1.3

it can't find the correct file.
i looked in the zip i downloaded and the file wasn't there.
It's FE13bzone.cfg, so use /config FE13bzone.cfg in your shortcut.
WEll now i have TA5 but thnx anyway.
Maybe we should wait until the final 1.3 patch version comes out and then put together an installer for FE on it.
