Looks very good Josiah.

Now comes the time to decide if you want to continue to model what the textures infer in the 3D surface like the side panels, view port, top hatch, etc.

That's where I have a hard time having restraint, and you have to start pulling the artistic license out your ...uh, because the textures are so blurry.

I personally don't like to leave a model depending on textures for anything more than paint schemes, decals, vehicle ID numbers, etc.

But then, that's when the poly count starts to sky-rocket.

Engaging in battle when the combatants are moving at a significant fraction of the speed of light would be problematic at best. I recall reading a novel (Antares Rising? something like that) in whcih humanity was fighting a race called the Riall (I think) and they engaged in battles similar to the way eddy describes the fighting in Lost Fleet, racing towards each other at tremendous velocity and firing their weapons as they come.

Imagine a mortar that lays a mine that launches a mortar that lays a mine and so on for about five repeats until the mortar is about halfway across the map.

The last freeze came up with an exception code error message C0000005, also stated this exe. is using 36 MB peak is 38 MB.
Can anyone explain why this is happening?
