I had always been a FPS player, and had tried a few RTS games but never liked being out of the action. I had played the single player missions for BZ2 about 20 times before I got a good internet connection and found out about patch 1.2 and G66. After that it was all over, every FPS I played after that would get defeated in a matter of days, then I was back to BZ2 mpi. Replayability is my answer to this. Oh sure, Max Payne and Command and Conquer: Renegade have replayability, but nothing compared to BZ2 mpi. With G66 the main thing that keeps you going is the random attacks, it's never the same. You gotta love that.

When it comes to fantastic occurrences, lots of battle, humor and action, I liked it. But I remember feeling like Neilk1 after the movie, frowning about writing a whole new timeline for things in the past.

Battlezone 2: 1.3 Public Beta 5.1 / Re: Mods in 5.2
November 24, 2009, 06:50:26 AM
Mostly bzscrap has everything and 1.2 mappacks and mods are at bz2maps, the best bet for most everything else is bzcomplex. The problem being these websites aren't advertised on Gamespy. This would help everyone to find what is needed to be up to date.
There is no way to have a mod manager with everything in it because as soon as it was installed two or three other things would come out, then more and more. The most important thing of all would be to make sure that all the map makers and mod makers give their products out to the public with the same exact way to install. Not one person saying to dump his maps in one place, another somewhere else and most in main dir. The less complicated the better. Most of the modder/map makers know this of course, but their are some new people making things that don't realize the norm, and so their mods/maps don't get played.

VSMIT: for the most part you are right, a bass sounds lik dog with effects. But I have heard some very cool jazz bass that use some effects like wah that sound super.
Dianoga4: What I plug into my pc to record is a M-Audio Fasttrack. They make many different one, mine is for single input.  Comes with a bunch of recording software, but I really only use Audacity which I heard about here at bzuniverse.

Play a Standard Gibson Les Paul, Fender "Squire II" Stratocastor and an old acoustic my roomate found in the trash with a missing string. Got a Digitech RP70 digital effects processor and a Marshall "Lead 100 Mosfet" amplifier with a 4/12 Jackson cabinet. Dunlop Tortex  .88 mm picks all the way, I go through about 20 picks a week.

X-mod has shield bunkers that encompass large areas. I think Steeveeo's rsv has shield towers.
