You can also get a client like mIRC or X-Chat and connect another way.

Anyway, far as testing out G66, maybe I can do it. My skills have rusted since I played BZ2, but I can see what I can do perhaps.

I love the idea of having a sort of weaker recycler to send to your comrades to build another base on those big maps. Gives more of an element of surprise and all that.

Anyway, my take on the bomber is... no. Far as I know, there is no fix at all with multiple bomber bays, hence why you can only build one. I've seen in other mods that bomber bay-type buildings will override the old bay if it gets built and the bomber itself will land on the 'new' one. So, I think it'd be best to just leave the bomber to the commander.

Otherwise, I'm liking the idea for this variant. Just wish I had a few friends help me out with this, since its really hard testing a new variant when I don't have 3-4 people playing. XD

I'm quite impressed with what's going on here. Definitely looking forward to returning to BZ2 for this. (sorta played BZ2 a few times off and on in the past few months)

Now that I see PB 5.1 is out and an addon pack is being made, just gives me inspiration to return to my old BZ2 days. If you ever need a beta tester for this project, I'd be more than happy to do so. My time needs to be used anyway since I've been bored out of my mind.

In all my time being in the BZ2 community, I've never seen this video. Quite interesting actually. Even then, FE remains to be the best mod I've ever played.

Hm, reading some of these topics, sounds like an interesting discussion.

My view is that the military itself is one big 'organization' with different branches, in the case of the US that was already mentioned. The ISDF, which is an international entity, is probably considered different as it's not really just a single nation's military unit. US and Russia (those are the only two of notable mention from what I hear in the BZ series) are two major nations of power that formed the ISDF.

Basically, I don't think the ISDF is a branch itself, or even has branches to begin with. I think it's just a faction of itself formed by several nations to protect against the Scion threat. But then, that eventually changed to the EDF according to the FE storyline to protect from the Hadean threat at the time.

Ugh, honestly, if this sounds like babble, I haven't played BZ2 fully in like a year and a half. =P

Those were some good times indeed. May have to get back into it and re-learn what started it all. Though, now I need to play the first game, never did see that one.... *shuts up now*
