QuoteThe default XSI models look fine in game except that they point downward,
Build them pointing up.
As I tried to explain before transforms are less than helpful when putting model into bz2. LOD models ignore them and animations alter them.
Build your units orientated so that they come out in bz2 the right way up.

This is all about the actual numbers that define the mesh, trying find a way to have the wrong numbers (using a transform) is asking for problems.

bounceSound is only for bounceBomb's.

Some things have a default sound they use, use the silent.wav to shut them up

I am not sure that a moderators powers should really extend to enforcing the complex rules of English spelling... :-D

Cool motor...I don't suppose those jet engines actually work?  :-D
Just needs a couple of machine guns, a rocket launcher and mine layer.

Quote81 items is maxmum for a constructor type unit.
Which is far too many for anyone playing bz2 to deal with.

You got the xsi export from 3dex to produce a model that works in bz2?

That sounds like trouble, a better approach would be to limit the rate at which chat can be entered/passed over network, then the idiots would only spam themselves.

Oh. I HATE campers!
Someone with the nick Bz2pwn00
Joined a game I was in tonight, no spamming, asked me "why are the people at bzU such retards" and denied being the spammer, then he left.
Seems an odd response from someone who is trying to defend their reputation. I have seen that nick b4 back in 1.2, not sure who it was.
But someone is Impostering! That person is an @$$H0|e. We know it and so does he. Not much else to be done about it really, but we can now be very glad that idiots like this can no longer ruin our games like they can in 1.2.

I have also been "imposterised" recently  :-D and have had the Idiot spamming with *beep* *beep* *beep* in my game, Can't remember what nick he used, seemed to play most of the game ok though and just spammed the end. Shame really, I don't have to use the kick nearly as much in 1.3 as I did in 1.2.
Nothing wrong with killing empty's! Its better to have 5 scrap to pick up than supply the enemy with a free scout.

In mpi, the Map units sometimes change depending on the difficulty level setting, easy-guardians hard -spires. don't know about IA as I never play it.

How about not worrying to much about the story for now, because when it comes down to it, it will be told in missions Make the content then make some missions, once you have those you can make  cutscenes, voiceovers, videos and text to tell a story that fits with the (good) missions you actually have.
