Public 1.3 Beta 2 Archive / fix to visual lag

Fixed via gameprefs.ini modifications.  Still needs more testing, report any changes for better/worse.
Extract to bzroot

The above is a 7zip file, if you dont have an extractor for .7z files you can get the official version here

ok, i was in a walker, being hit with emp stream so i couldnt do anything, i died from spires and DIDNT bail out of walker.  i got fixme:user team three nt found, then i was booted out of game.  stupid emp...

ok, i get an av when i try to load this.  Was in a single player mission, i got bored of making a base the hard way so i gave myself the infinite scrap cheat.  i had 4 cons, a nearly full base (one con was sent to mave strong, one building dower, all else was made) i had to go and saved, and now it crashes upon load.  Who should i send savegame to?  oh, all this was stock, and in the mission when you first save the aan loyalists from the new regime.

ok, nothing odd was going on, just a 2vs2 isdf only strat.

was using modified assets.
not much that really happened at the time of av, cept i was usimg a dropped sniper (from arm) and was about to snipe something when ai killed me.  here it is

ok, im saying this here for it is the only place that could have any relevance at all.  i found a way to make a savegame file in multiplayer, not that it does anything useful.  type this into councel:
mission.filename="witty_name_here.sav"
mission.save

you get a save file, but i dont think it has any usefulness.  i dont know if it would be useful to devs though to be able to make a savegame of a multiplayer game so the devs can do whatever it is they do with a savegame.

ok, this is in both 1.2 and 1.3, basicially it lets you (without doing anything to files and whatever) deploy the recycler onto any relatively flat ground, even if you normally couldnt buile there.  Not reallt a big bug, probablly designed in to make deploying recyc at start easier and faster, but can be annoying/exploited (deploying over pool so pool is in recyc).  The terrain deforms to fit the recycler and becomes flat, but goes back if recyc dies.  it isnt really big, but it does allow oddly placed baces.

Public 1.3 Beta Archive / Organising games

Because it seems that there are much less 1.3 games at any given moment than 1.2 games, and most of the ones going on are mpi, would anyone else want to try organising games?  Not on any type of stric basis, but you could post here that you were going to host a game in a few hours, so that, hopefully, more people would show up.  It would be a much better time window, and much easier to access than starting the game and looking at the server list.  So, what do you think?

I found 2 errors, one was also in 1.2 but the other wasnt.  The one that was in 1.2 was a really weird thing that happens right when you deploy a scav, before it becomes a pool, and after you can do anything with it.  Just about the time when if you move it you make a dead pool.  You can get back into the scav (you need to pilot it into the pool i think) during this time.  If you do, the game basicially deletes the scav with you inside it.  The pool is there, with an extractor on it, but is give a message that cant find user or something like that.  I think its also the reason that when you deploy a computer controlled scav (on your team) no pilot gets out and comes to your base.  The other bug is new to 1.3, a lot of people probally know about it, but it can be abused, so I wont tell anyone else what is.  If someone who can be trusted to not abuse it, I will be happy to PM them what it is.
