Don't try and spread false hopes -- what you propose can only be done if you can find a way to make a hovering ODF.

The no-infinite-flying fix was done in code, not an ODF change. As far as I can tell, ivscout.odf has not changed since the version in 1.0's data.pak.

A multiplier is easy; it doesn't matter where it came from. It's harder to track down teams over multiple possible stages of ownership and ordnance.

First off, I DIDN'T IMPLEMENT THIS. Thank you for not making a personal issue.

But, I'd have thought the "vets" would have loved something that makes them think, and use more skill to differentiate themselves from newbies. Hah.

Changing some settings adds lots of lag in MP. That's prohibited. Go play SP/IA. Or adjust your settings before the game.

For someone dedicated to bashing 1.3, you sure seem to play a lot of it.

Flying is a physics bug, fixed in code, and I don't think ODF changes can restore it.

You're welcome to tweak ODFs all day. Once you leave out the bile directed at me, ODF tweaks have a better chance of being accepted. Seriously, some people seem dedicated to the idea of trying to piss me off *and* make me listen to them. Pick one.

The best way to get a setting to 'stick' is to log in, change it, log out and exit BZ2. Then relaunch BZ2 and confirm it's changed.

Worked the same in 1.0-1.2.

So far, with certain people blaming everything they dislike about 1.3 on me, they're earning themselves a trip to my mental ignore list. Tip: read the changelog. Note who did things. I did a lot, but I didn't do everything I've been accused of.

Accusations that are factually wrong earn yourself a trip to my mental s**tlist faster than anything else. Several of you have racked up considerable problems there. If you want to be listened to, then please listen to what I just said -- that's what you're insisting I do, is it not?

Texture size isn't affected by auto-change in MP. It's a setting only applied when textures are loaded, and that's something you don't want to do in MP.

The thug code (specifically the give/take cmd code) only works with 2 teamgroups, teams 1..5 and 6..10.

I suspect River4 only has 4 spawnpoints, so it's likely that a 5th or 6th commander might end up in the wrong area. If there's a River6 created, this might not happen.

Certain console commands don't work in MP anymore. You play by the mapmaker's setup.

You can talk all you want on other boards. However, the odds of that affecting 1.3-final are less than zero. Basically, if your whole point is to rant, have fun elsewhere.

If you want to be listened to, then you've got to figure out how to present ideas so they'll be accepted. Some have failed miserably at this task. Look at them, and do something different from them.

I believe maulers are in the same place in the tech tree in 1.3 as in 1.2. For a while, they were bumped up for no good reason (I didn't suggest or do that change), and they were pulled back months ago.

The editor is in bz2edit.exe now, not bzone.exe. This was done to keep people from using the editor in multiplayer.

You can also /ban them (extra form of kick). That prevents them from rejoining that server until the server quits to windows.
