If you've read the changelog for 1.3ta5, you'll note that I'm working on The Saboteur at Pandemic as my day job. Here's a few links:
Official site: http://www.pandemicstudios.com/saboteur/ (http://www.pandemicstudios.com/saboteur/)
E3 trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-the-saboteur/49867 (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-the-saboteur/49867)
Gameplay footage from E3: http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6211587/ (http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6211587/) (17 minutes)
Note that as the game is M-rated (i.e. mature, the equivalent of a R-rated movie in the US), these links are age verified. Other links and coverage definitely exists; I'm just linking what came out for E3 this week.

That..... I LIKE!!!
Looks like a WW2 version of Hitman/Assasins Creed... :-o
Nice. Is there any remote relationship (official or coincidental) to the Commodore64 game series "Saboteur" (much like Atari Battlezone is to Pandi BZ)? Maybe not, probably only related by title ... and maybe premise.
That does look pretty. Nice to hear the original version of Feeling Good once in a while too, instead of the Muse one all the while :P Not that I don't like the Muse one.
God, those age verification things annoy me. So pointless.
Yeh they are a bit. everythime i go to check my stats of gears website i have to go through it... i think you can set them up to use cookies though.
It does look like fun. Graphically it reminds me more of oblivion. Pandemic always put out good games, anyone remember the army men series (i think 3DO did most of them but pandemic touched on it at some point).

That's very easy on the eyes. :-)
The climbing abilities remind me very much of the Assasins Creed engine. I just hope Saboteur doesn't have the same horrid ending that that game did :)

And an ... interesting ... comic: http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20091002 (http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20091002) .
To see what he looks like in real life, http://www.gametrailers.com/video/lead-designer-the-saboteur/49082 (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/lead-designer-the-saboteur/49082) , about the 0:15 mark.
There's also the news post on the comic, which I quote:
Quote
“I'm pretty psyched about The Saboteur. The videos look great, and I think that Tom French and his hair will deliver us a really fun game come December. I get the feeling that even if the game looked like crap, I'd want it anyway, just because Tom's hair told me to. Don't agree with me? Have you seen his hair? It's fantastic.
It makes me wonder how wise a decision it is to even have his hair in the same video as The Saboteur footage. It's a show stealer. You know you should be looking at the cool video game they're making, but the hair pulls you in. It comforts you, and tells you that everything is going to be alright. It evokes the security of a long-term relationship and the thrill of a one-night-stand all at once. Tom French's hair could cure Cancer, but it's too busy being awesome.
And yeah, their game looks pretty cool too.”

I was wondering if the citizens would fight the Nazis as the mood of that area increased and it looks like they do when he's fighting there.
That looks good, I'm guessing its just a single player game?
Yeh, the guy mentioned it i think. Kind of reminds me of assasins creed (except this probably WONT be hoot under all the shiny graphics). Nothing to really DO online in those games.
The Saboteur has gone gold: http://www.pandemicstudios.com/thesaboteur/content/saboteur-gone-gold (http://www.pandemicstudios.com/thesaboteur/content/saboteur-gone-gold) or http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=104571 (http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/board.pl?action=viewthread&threadid=104571) . Yes, I worked on that game. I'm no longer at Pandemic (I quit), as I noted at http://www.bzuniverse.com/forum/index.php/topic,10188.0.html (http://www.bzuniverse.com/forum/index.php/topic,10188.0.html) . Most of my coworkers from Pandemic are also no longer at Pandemic (they were laid off, see that thread also).

Sab is currently scoring less (71 metacritic) than Mercs2 (72 metacritic), which I think is unfortunate. Sab's nowhere near a perfect game, just better than Mercs2. Or so I thought.
