General BlackDragon is able to extract the models.  He did it for the Chinese models for Avatar's BZC mod for bz2.

That's understandable.  AV recreated the models by hand using the textures to recreate the models to the best of his abilities.

I'd love to see a high poly razor and flanker.

In which game GBD?  Would they be too high poly for bz1?

BFT's model would look cool ingame.  Your's most likely will too once textured.

I couldn't get any useful info out of Visual studio because I was unable to see it's elevated permissions window to give it administrative access so I had to get that info from the Events log.

I ran into a crash last night, but wasn't able to get anything useful from VS C++.  Windows Event Viewer gave me the following.  Hopefully something useful is in there.

Battlezone 1 Patch Board / Re: Battlezone Modeling

Some bz1-inspired skins for bz2 would be awesome.  Too bad we don't  have some of our best modelers left.

Yeah, the original 1.0 cockpit was more accurate when you look at the grizzly model.  I think some later editions of bz1 came with 1.4 preinstalled.  Especially if you purchased it with the Explosive label.
#12
Understandable due to its bugs.
#13
The 1.3 model is probably more accurate than the 1.4 one.  Not sure why they made the geometry change.
#14
Yeah, supposedly the fins were misplaced too.  I liked the overall slimmed down look of the model, due to the removal of the fines, but from what I was told, that was an unintentional change like the barrel bug.

Who knows.  Look up bz1 gold and that is rediculously expensive.  I think it was about $80 or around that price anyways.
