Battlezone Universe

Pretty self explanatory. I personally like maps with canyons and either a Tranquility, Dark planet, or Mire type atmosphere.

Terrain is a factor of planets.
Planets are a factor of missions.
Missions are a factor of details.
Details are a factor of story.

We are still on the details I think.

IMO, we should strive to give a large diversity in missions. All sorts of objectives and all sorts of places. In caves, in space, on living worlds, on desolate rocks, on foot, in ship, base building, base defending, sabotage, escort.

As do I, really want a space battle and perhaps leading a ground infantry assault.

So far, to my dismay, Aeneans seems to be winning

Ahh, it is comical how you attempt to fake the results by allowing anyone to vote twice for anything but Aeneans when it, from what I can tell, was actually already accepted.

As VSMIT said in the other one, it has already been decided.

Since this is obviously going the same way it did LAST TIME, the poll is over, winning name is Aeneans, or some derivative of the name.

May I vote to keep it Aeneans? Not to change it to Aeneads.

If you want my opinion (some smart arse will say 'we don't') too much information is being asked for from the general public. Can't please everyone. Just get the 'key' people involved in the current story and finish it. Community is very misleading at times.

Even so, This is a community project (and N1 likes the "n" too)

VSMIT, just keep it as is (No derivatives, otherwise we'll just start another 100 year war over which derivative to use).

But to be fair, I don't think we completely decided on the name (unless my amnesia is kicking in again), just a large majority seemd to like it. Either way the poll speaks for itself.  :wink:

Ah, very well, I will lock the voting for both polls and the name shall be Aeneads, the topic is now soley devoted to the terrain and maps of the project.

We should have diverse, irregular maps, asymmetrical, with mountains and oceans and islands and such. I also like multiple levels of elevation (like extremely diverse levels) and lots of props.

And I believe its only a choice between Aeneads and Aeneans, As simple and final poll would fix it. We could talk about terrain in the mean time.

Aeneans is an offshoot of of Aeneas, which is why i did not like the name. However, Aeneads were the followers of Aeneas following the fall of Troy, which why i prefer the former, sounds less like the actual name Aeneas.
