Normally I never get all excited from a tech demo. They're jut neat, is all.
But now, CryEngine 3 has a video demonstrating some of the quirks and whatnot.

Of course what they fail to tell you in that video is that its also running on a super-optimised PC... i highly doubt most PC's can run that level of detail in real time.
It really is beautiful. Unlike the cost of a PC that will run it.
I'd be willing to buy a PC just to run that perfectly...
