Many thanks to Nathan and Ken for there work,  My Family played a LAN  MPI game for 4 hours today, on P4 2.0,  P3 600,  P2 350,  with out any major problems   1st time we have ever been able to do that BZ2.  Its so good to have a reliable game.  Had about 6 Checking Gamestate messages in the game but kept right on going. :-D

I have noticed a couple of minor bugs

1. On River 4 ST map  I can't change resolution on P4 machine  its stuck on lowest resolution.

2. MPI map  shows small map of Ground Zero,  but its actually Ground 4 Map

Cheers

P.S keep up the good work
:-D

Were you already inside the strat session?  If so, you cannot change resolution from ingame.  It should be changed before you start a session.  I think this was to keep the game from lagging too much, among other factors I'm not sure about.

I've only played a few 1.3 games so far, and I have to say wow! I'm impressed! :) The pre-game options are great, the AI must have been improved a great deal, the additional maps are great.

I'll have to figure out how to turn off the hud status data (with the kills and pings of all other players in the top right of the screen) and play some more. ;)

Control Enter turns that off I believe...  (Enter something, it's been awhile since I turned it off).

You said you were 12...  though I guess "old" is relative.   :-D

"Enter" is part of the number keys and "Return" part of the keys in the main area?  Anyway, this discussion could get silly, fast; so I'll leave this thread alone...

"RETURN" goes back to the typewriter days...  as in "carriage return".

Whoever remembers typewriters is old (I keep saying "return" in an AutoCAD class I'm teaching)

Heh, I'm only 20, but I fit into that group. I remember going a yr6 assignment on a red and black ink typerwriter. I say return all the time, and sometimes even say carriage return"

There is something with a keyboard, that just isn't as "immersive" as the old typewrite was.

My MS Natural Multimedia KB is plenty immersive :)

Whoa, this is going OT.

Quotetechnoid   Were you already inside the strat session?

I had aready set a higher resolution 1182x564 and all the other maps were fine in that resolution  but when I go to River 4 it drops back to the lowest resolution and won't change.  Using a GF4 Ti 4600

Cheers
