I am sure you all agree that *invisable bumps* are a bug in-game. For example, in chill, if one tries to get a sabre to ramp off the base plateau and on one to one of the 4 small pieces of raised terrain this bug becomes very noticeable.
Just as the tank is about to make it...it will suddenly lose its momentum (in the mid-air just above the edge of the raised terrain), turn its nose up...and fall back.
Now, if i recall correctly, this bug happened in 1.2 as well.....but to a far *far* less noticeable degree....that is to say that it occoured in such a way that it was barely indestingishable from the hovercrafts general mobility.
Please get this fixed one way or anthoer. I do hope sincearly that people become all 'opinionated' on weather this get fixed, but rather focus their energy on how to fix it and what exactly is the details of this bug.
I've always felt that in BZ1 you were totally free of the ground when in the air, while in BZ2 it always seemed as if the ground was affecting your movement. I know exactly what you're talking about and agree that it's an odd feeling when it occurs...

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this but, don't worry, it's been fixed as far as I can tell.
In 1.2 the same problem happened, only it occured whenever you are higher up in above the cliff, instead of being close to it.
no, we are talking about the same thing. Its just in 1.3 beta 1 its a lot more noticeable, unacceptably so
That beta dates back to Feb 2004, Quite a bit has changed since then....................
Actually Beta 1 is far far older then that. PB1 is newer then that, Beta 62, but it is still far too out of date compared to what is out now. So, needless to say, the physics are no where near that of PB1. It would be best to not say that the 'beta' (general term, even if you did not mean it as so) physics are bad, because they are not.
