Title: Okay, what's the deal here?
Post by: APCs r evil on September 16, 2006, 07:00:20 PM
Every time I try to start a game with a rec variant I'm working on I get this AV. I've undone everything I did that may have caused it but I still get the AV whenever I launch.

Any idea what the problem is?

You may need to post your recycler variant so others have the assets to help narrow down the issue.  If your factory builds new units, I would suggest disabline all units, commenting them out, then start by uncommenting one at a time until you start crashing again.

No, not new units, just modified versions of the current ones. In most cases, the only thing changed was the Mass value, I already commented those changes out but I still get the AV...

Well, I found the problem. The modififed Scout's ODF names were too long, once I shortened them everything was fine. Interestingly, the Titan's ODF name is just as long and it doesn't cause any problems.. But whatever, I don't want to piss it off.  :-D
