In order to help we need more information.  Please post your system specifications & the entire contents of the battezone.log after this problem occurs.  Also try using the  "/nointro" (no quotes) flag to skip the movie.

dd driver: nv4_disp.dll : NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro (Microsoft Corporation) : 0.0.0.0

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a rather OLD Video Card? I see  1999 popping up on Google searches for it. I have to wonder if it can support BZ2 if that's the case.

With a TNT2, you probably need to add "/nodxt" (without quotes) to the command line for bzone.exe. pb4 (when released) auto-detects such cards -- which are older than BZ2 -- and auto-handles them better.

If you drop the scrap too much for a modifyed scout. They can build a bunch of them and drive them to a training center and put pilots in them.
Scions as far as i know doesn't have a training center.
Becareful.

So if I make a Mod with only dxt textures, the /nodxt switch will be of little use to those with old video cards?
I don't really want to include the .pic versions as well as it will make the whole thing much larger.

I'm under the impression that it will work.  It just won't generate the other mip maps based on the dxt textures.

/nodxt causes BZ2 to convert the DXT textures back to png/bmp/something so it is usable everywhere as I recall in pb4.
