Well i was playing single player.
The mission fanning the base.
Yellena was there. and I sent the tug to follow her
Nothing happened. I dropped the scion creature and the blue highlighted hauler picked it up.

Im stuck at this part. yellena told me to make the tug follow her.
So far nothings happening. I even tried tugging both of them to the scion base. no luck.

Your tug must be carrying the scion leader and then you order it to follow her.
For the record, the mission is called "Fanning the Fire", but we all knew what you meant. :)
If the tug picked up the Scion after it was no longer in your control, it should have followed Yelena. Try playing the mission again, maybe saving right before you get to that part just in case.

I've noticed that tugs don't go to navs on Dustbowl mpi map. Haven't tested it anywhere else yet.
that misson never worked for me =( she wouldn't show up...
