anyone know how to group a bunch of vehicles together without having to fill up all the slots? :?
Select a group, hold control and select another.
OR
Hold Control when selecting a group, choose specific units, select another group.
In 1.3PB4 mixed groups are possible.

You must be using the GreenHeart Recycler from the Recycler List.
Then you can upgrade them just like scions upgrade their structures in stock.

hah... its annoying how you get the dodgy lightning strike though... it would be nice if both/all icons appeared there or something
the lightning strike always makes me feel like its missing something, gives an 'incomplete' feeling

I am not aware of any towers you can upgrade on Greenhearts recycler variant. Only power. This is only possible on X-mod(patch 1.3pb3) and Starfleet(patch 1.2) as far as I know.
