Ok, I've never been able to play multiplayer games with anyone on BattleZone 2. I've even tried all the patches but still nothing. And when I make the game, no one can see it. Whats wrong with my Port Forwarding?

Currently, this is all I see in the game list:

Now if you notice, the game I've selected has the 1.3PB4a patch. So do I. Yet his game is showing up red. I even tried redownloading but, still his game came up red. I don't know if this is a problem with the patch, my portforwarding or my computer.
Help would be appreciated :D
wat patch r u running u might be on 1.3pb3 or 1.3 pb4 but not 1.3pb4a and u just hav to open those ports to host not to join and i can tell u rnt running 1.3pb4a cause under the PWD colum its all (V) that meens its a different version

What patch are you running? You might be on 1.3pb3 or 1.3 pb4, but not 1.3pb4a. You just have to open those ports to host, not to join. I can tell you aren't running 1.3pb4a because under the "PWD" column its all "(V)," which means it's a different version.
The total amount of chatspeak used here has made my head hurt, so I felt like I needed to fix it (blame English Class), please use full words and punctuation.
@PB: Patch up to PB4a.

If you have two firewalls ( i.e. Windows firewall and Norton) and the one you set up is not the default one, then you may have an issue there. Check your install version by first starting the game, then on the sign-in page look down at bottom left and read the version number. If everything is proper then you may have a problem with your router. I'm not the expert on this, but I know that some routers rely on you manuely changing the allowed ports on the router itself.
Know this, if you set your firewall up on a previous version (say 1.3pb3), then you installed 1.3pb4a on top of the 1.3pb3, then you must remove the old bzone.exe from the "allowed" section of your firewall and point the firewall program to the new bzone.exe. Each install must be made known to the firewall program.

no it didnt on myne then i asked some1 i forget who and they just said just install the 1 patch and i dont have to go in order
1. Sometimes people use a shortcut that points to a different install. Check to see if the version you are running is actually 4a. You should see the version at the bottom of the screen when you first fire up BZ2. Also check by starting BZ2 by clicking on bzone.exe instead of the shortcut.
2. Try adding the Gamespy ports 27900 and 28900 to your port forwarding list.
I installed the patch and now I don't see any games :-o
AND it freezes when I try to go back to the menu.
I have configured Norton 360 but still the same result :-(
try reinstalling agian, t could have just messed up on the install, its really really dumb cause sometimes it does it to me and then a cry :'(
Just reinstalled and now I can see servers, but i'm getting a message saying "Connection Refused"
my last guess is your fire wall is up and blocking some of it, its all i can think of
