hello everybody, i would like to know how to get original music of battlezone 2, the one you listen when a mission INSTANT.
thanks a lot!!! :-)
Comes with BZ2TA5 and is located on your cd.
BZ2TA5's set is located in the Addon folder under "Cdmusicogg" or something of the sorts.
They play well with VLC.

To be honest, they play well in any media player. Stop peddling your programs, Wraith :P
VCL pissed me off, never again.

VLC. :D
Oh wow, I transposed 2 letters, great reasons to waste a post.
lol. you can see how cranky VLC makes him :D
We use a REALLY old version of VLC in college to play wavs back. Its not too bad so long as you only use the basic one, takes less memory and CPU time than things like media player who have all these pointless "Visualisations" and what-not.
I use winamp cause I need to sync my iPod properly which WMP can't handle, and iTunes won't work for me any more, but it takes an age to load. Anybody got any better ideas?
re-install iTunes :P
I've tried, every version won't work. Even the old ones sucked the power out of my pc. Still, I've grown to love winamp much more than I ever did iTunes.
And way to bump :P
Infranview with plugins plays .Ogg files
Aah, now I see he's taken to bumping! :-D
[/sarcasm]
That really was a warning I sent, you know. Behave.
Also foobar2000 and Songbird should do the trick.
But Songbird writes corrupt databases to my iPod, so I recommend against syncing your iPod with it. At least with the default firmware, I don't remember if it likes Rockbox or not.
No wait he's asking for MENU music!
Like what you hear when you just opened bzone.exe
That music doesn't show up anywhere. The files in CDAudioAsOgg are the soundtracks played when you are in IA, Multiplayer or Campaign.
That music IS there :), but its hidden away a bit...
data.pak > audio > shell
These are in .wav form, NOT .ogg. They could be in .ogg if you wanted though, but stock .cfg files will point to wavs, so theres no point unless you want to edit EVERY shell file.
The files are mire22_#.wav
But BZ2 will look for a .ogg file for the shell files too. I think if .ogg exists, or exists and is newer, then .ogg is preferred. Just like .dxtbz2 > .tga if exists and timestamp(.dxtbz2) >= timestamp(.tga).

He's using algebra because it saves him typing things out again. What's wrong with algebra?

Why are you using algebra?
That's conditional statements... cornerstone of programming.
I used the notation I did because it's accurate and useful to people who think logically. Sorry I misjudged the audience.

lol, Clavin got slammed :-)
Ouch. That notation = not hard to follow.
if(User > Neophyte)
{
CanComprehend = 1
}
else
{
CanComprehend = 0
Self.Destruct()
}
"Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"
Do that, and you won't be smited as much.

The most widely-accepted past participle of "to smite" is "smitten," not "smited."

Smote.
Oh, no, not this again, please! :lol:
Yes please.
Or maybe this thread should be split and moved to OT.
Anyway I never noticed that the "music" is just small soundtracks looped infinitely.
Only the shell music is. The rest of the music is composed of 2-3-minute tracks.

Smote.
Smote is not a participle, it's the conjugated form in the past tense.
Good point about the shell music.
