I've just created a new forum, and everyones welcome to register.
The critical part of the forum are the leaderboards. When the TA5 Enhancement Pack comes out, you will be able to play ranked matches which will upload your stats to the leaderboards. You will be able to find your score in comparison to other players. The system is being designed and initialized now, but the (blank) page is up at the moment.
Its also there for tutorials, maps and mods, BZ2 discussion, similar to what BZUniverse is.
Wasn't too difficult to do, but it's not finished yet, feel free to post things.

I think yet another BZ forum (free one specifically) is just a bad idea.
The free one probably isnt great and doesn't have the best stuff, but i did want my own board anyway really. I might pay for a full-version soon, depending on how much use it gets. I may have to eventually to get the leaderboard idea working correctly.
Considering the 10 other free forums for BZ2 and their dismal performance. Considering the performance of the site I pay for. It will get some members then die says later. Only reason BZComplex continues is the Wiki and the Bug Tracker and the Gallery. The forum has been dead since 2 months after I made it.
well like i said, well see where it goes.
Could probably arrange a section to do the same on here.

That was the idea. im sure 6 months ago i suggested something like this and everyone was yay happy dancing.
Now im actually thinking of doing something like it (with help obviously), and its not been very well recieved at all...
I love the idea of ranked matches and leader boards! Having people compete for dominance out of it will get some nice friendly competition in the community if it works well.
And may also convert alot of 1.2ers XD.

Well no, it looks great, and had potential. But *Ammo*ing advertisements are going to pwn it soon, and its putting people off joining anyway. And to be honest, i don't really feel like paying for all those 0's and 1's to stay clean.
Plus theres a lack of enthusiasm anyway tbh, in pretty much everything, the pack, the forum, the ranking system. Dont know if i can be *Ammo*ed with the ranking system anymore. Thats something i might keep for what i originally intended it for, i.e. Serenesis Mod, which is getting nowhere right now with the addon pack taking up all my modding time.
