The command vehicle has a sattelite uplink and I was wondering, is there a way to get the same effect using a sabre by only modifying its ODF?

No. Command vehicle is a classlabel of its own.
There is a way (from BZC) to make a comm bunker that can be used (selected) from anywhere but it is buggy in MP (or used to be).
Ask Avatar or GBD.
Commandeable comm towers still don't work in MP. i know because in my rec variant the Scion Overseer array is one of these. Any multi-world environment will break it.
Either way a command sabre cant be made :lol:
Could have it morph into the fixed Comm Vehicle.
My mistake. Would still need the same classlabel.
