Ever since a forced update to msn messenger about a month ago ? i have been unable to log in. It comes up with Windows Live Communications Platform "send" "dont send" error message, indicating it crashed. I think it's called dr winston debugger or some such, happens when a program inexpicebly explodes.
Well, that message pops up every time i hit "sign in". I've been unable to correct it by reinstalling msn messenger, reverting msn messenger, or by hitting my computer with a baseball bat.
So....any ideas?
You can download the entire program then execute it and install to a different location then remove the old one.
i've completely deleted the program and reinstalled twice.
Will what you're suggesting fix it?
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Download a different IM client?
I absolutely HATE Dr Watson. Explorer crashes, calls up Watson. Watson crashes, *Ammo*s up my computer.
Oddly it's not called Dr. Watson on my PC...
Doctor Watson's Postmortem Debugger. First time I said it my parents though I was being quite rude!

i just want to fix my msn. I have yim/aim/icq/xfire. But some people i only have on msn :-/
I know that the Xfire client now supports both AIM and MSN, I don't know if any others have been added as of the latest update.
ebuddy? some other webmessenger?
how does xfire incorperate my msn buddies?
It puts them in with your xfire friends, in whatever groups you have them in already and with a different icon.

Use that to remove messenger and anything related to msn. Then download the new one from here.
