in multiplayer? might that make things warp bad? always thought about changing that cfg but didnt think it would fly to well in mp.

if by by biggest number of bz2 fans you mean random 1.3 nubs then yes some sort of readme stating the obvious could get them in this patch.

otherwise it just sounds like an anti-anti fly patch people moaned over when the first public release was out, ill probably be happy with pb2 Stock, others seriously wont care, and 1.2'ers wont switch, same as always.

played with the netsmooth, guess i cant tell head from tails cause it only gets worse, isnt there another related command other then minsmooth maxsmooth?

The problem is it hangs so far behind you can shoot out your ass at other people. (hence you turn as fast as you can and the model can be 180 degrees behind where you're really looking) 1.2 suited the competitive players much better because that never happened, only time a model detached from a hitbox was nosing into the ground for extreme speed or blinking.. Since that was the only 2 places you would see this problem, it wasn’t much to worry about.. But now its permanently available in 1.3..

and strafing left right to evade bullets is going to look smooth but that’s just giving a false impression when the players hitbox is going way out in front of the direct of the model but at least the target lead indicator isn’t based off the smoothed visual model and still presents an accurate location to shoot at.

nah i bet ken knew what his changes would imply, but you see.. he is the maker not the player so stop shedding those tears feeble effort. what a name..

you sure are cocky black dragon i bet every single "newb" in 1.2 would lay you flat on the ground in a strat without hovering in any way.


Its real simple 1.3 wasnt a big enough improvment in the eyes of 1.2's player base. unless the loc's on ventrilo beg me for a game i dont play 1.2 i play 1.3 despite the lagging visual model fun....

and 1.2's G66 knocks the socks off of 1.3 g66 and 1.3 mpi
its only stock 1.2 mpi thats un entertaining and mainly a lack of cpu activity

so you might wana get someone to help you with that foot in your mouth.

Maltenrazer i think i've seen you in the 1.3 chat, im in there via a mirc client that never sees down time so if you wait long enough i can help you live time with what ever.

Its just the way you say it, more like a demand then a request like its your devine right or something, tough luck kiddo.. dont bother crying you wanted an answer.


*edit* yea tell me how 4 programmers (respectively) biting off way more then they could chew and acti pushing an unrealistic release date results (in your mind) a few "details" that require patchs..

So ontop of the above id have to add your twisted and acute perspective on the world as another answer.

heh i also wanted to post about taps as well..

i know of the "work around" the recycler turrets and such use.

but could a line be added telling the engine not to expect the building linked to the tap have power for it, so we can drop the odf trickery?

and is there isnt a line specifing a building cant be demolished can that be added? if such a line exists for it someone please let me know?
