Thanks for super quick reply. You got it Im using Vista Ultimate worst thing i've done. Will try suggestion or is it best to wait for the further TA patch.

Hi installed 1.3 tech Alpha5 patch on clean install (no other patches even 1.1. ) I get music and control panel to log on user name- But every time I type in name -message keeps telling me to log on again. Yet the patch is listed on bottom of screen. 
. I also not note after deleting bz2 & booting up again the only option i get is to re-install (not install). Ive done this several times . If i reinstall can play game with no patches. I assume this patch reading the details you dont even need the 1st official patch .
Any help please.
