For all you who DO NOT know this, since PB3 (?) the ability to allow the morph command to toggle visual cloak and radar dampening has been added. (Otherwise know as Chinese Red Army Cloaking)

By slapping the following line under the [Morphtank Class] heading a ship will cloak when morphed. There is also a toggle put under the [Deployable Class] header for whether or not to allow weapons to be active while cloaked.

HiddenWhenMorphed = true // if true, Vir+Red turned on when morphed
CanScoutObjectifyWhenHidden = false // if true, Scout AI Class can target ship even when cloaked

[DeployableClass]
canAttackWhenDeployed = false // if false, weapons inoperative when deployed

Computer Labs at my school originally were separate from the School Network, meaning the filters did not exist.

Some dumbass decided to change that and now I can barely get to the forums here. Anyone know some workarounds.

* Filter blocks EVERY BZ2 site besides this one, but i think it is next.

Overdrive Terminal / All Network Drivers Code31'ed.

Funny how this happens after my folks finally decide to turn off the surgeprotector instead of shutting down the PC properly.

Basically each and every driver under the "Network Adaptors" section of the Device Manager have Code31'ed on the PC. For those who don't know, Code 31 is the code for "Can't load Drivers".

Every driver is in it's proper place and up to date. Assistance please, and not sarcastic remarks. (for those wondering, i'm currently using my Dad's laptop as he asked me to set it up for use of our router. Obviously, mission accomplished.)

:Update: I was able to get my Router Adaptor Reinstalled, so I can now get back on wirelessly. However, I can't find the disc for the other drivers, so atm they are still "broken".

And as such, i had to reformat it to even use it. THE PROBLEM is that all my modding tools were on the drive, these included and not limited to:

- BZ2Scriptor
- OM's Mesh Viewer
- XNView
- Blender
- OM's Winter
- Bink Video
- Miles Sound System
- Audacity
- PAK Explorer
- Lithunwrap
- some of my school projects...

Now, I've been meaning to get better programs for dev-ing and that is the point of this topic. So if you can:
- List links to good programs of the likes of the ones I lost :|
- List ways to avoid this happening again
- DO NOT list BZSCRAP, im already getting the programs that I can find as I type this.

Maps and Modding / 4x4 Tractors in BZ2

I KNOW it is very possible, as Boogie has done it for QF Mod and I have seen MANY other examples of.

HOWEVER, when I attempt to constuct said setup, the treads go invisible ingame as they would in the ingame .xsi viewer in previous versions.

How would i go about fixing this and are there any specifics to creating this particular setup? Thanks a TON in advance.

What im asking is if the object has a certain place in itself that replicates an ingaem terrain grid and is give the terrain class, can it be built upon by constructors and deployables?

I KNOW i found something of the sorts on FishdotXSI before, i jsut never tested it....

So, in hopes that we may still have a chance at "organic" animation, does anyone either have a good idea of how to do it (and get it to export) or know where a copy of that page from the FishdotXSI website may be lurking.

If anyone is interested in such a project, please send .3ds of any model you want to see in the game (stock please, unless you can justify I will have permission) or .TER and minimap pics of any map you want to see put into Halo CE.

Im ALSO going to be bringing Halo into BZ2, so if you want to help with making .odf, weapons, or mapping, please express this yearning in this post.

If i end up with enough support BOTH projects can be completed by about April 15th or so......... as this is not a mod, just basic model conversion and a few maps for both ends..

This is patch 2.06 to be extracted to your root directory. This is NOT a full release. It is to be placed over Steeveeo's Recy Variant 2.0 OR 2.05.

The fixes in this patch are very little, simply overwrite existing files.

Fixes:
- Local Ammo Crates now cost 50 scrap (for balance).

-Unless you guys find bugs, this is the last time we will release work on this mod till pb4 OR I get permission from Steeveeo to place my updates in the meshes I made for this mod. Whichever comes first.
-It doesnt really matter if you already applied patch 2.05 or not, its basically a working version of patch 2.05, just apply and think nothing of it.

Is it possible for .odfs have lines that mean nothing at all to the engine.

ex. "level = 12r //mission 12 Rodian campaign

Along with that, is it possible for a DLL to be given instruction to write data ontu a file?

My pc won't run 1.3pb3 long enough for me to play. I can open it up, I can watch the intro.bik, but once the login shell is supposed to run I get the blue screen of death saying something and then my system crashed before I have a chance to see what the problem is.

So, 1.is there a way to read previous B.S.D logs without me going and crashing my com again.
and 2. Can this be fixed.

If pb4 will cause the same thing to happen when I try It, I guess I am doomed to being left behind by the BZII community.....................again...........................so your help in fixing this will be Very much appreciated.
