Fleshstorm Error on startup!

It was fine, then all of the sudden this happens when I try to start it up one day!

Did you do a  fresh install?

I used to get that alot. The only way to fix it is to reinstall bz2.

Didn't work.... Something has been going on though. Lots of other games on my PC have been acting up, and I think maybe the memory has something to do with it.

Sometimes memory sticks can come loose and you have to re-seat them. Go to hardware manager and see if their are any issues. You can check how much memory you are registering by using the direct x diagnostic tool (type "dxdiag" in run).

Be ca full. My mother unseated some ram to look at it closer, re-seated it, turned on the PC, and the ram exploded into a massive amount of smoke. They were working fine and seated correctly.

I did that direct x thing, and I have lots of memory available. This weird stuff only happens with Fleshstorm and Spore actually, other versions like Forgotten Enemies, 1.3pb4a, etc. work fine.

Fleshstorm is not compatible with Public Beta 4 unless you download my unofficial Fleshstorm 1.3 patch.

Nevermind the above.  It looks like you were running pb3 which is compatible.  Try reinstalling bz2 like someone above suggested.

I have but nothing works.

1.  Delete your bz2 folder.
2.  Reinstall bz2.
3.  Reinstall 1.3
4.  If you are running Public Beta 3, backup your log.ini file

I'm guessing that particular file is killing your bz2.  I believe that file would get corrupted in pb3 which will cause crashes when starting bz2.

Uninstalled it completely
Copied a fresh install
Installed Fleshstorm
Patched it with 1.3 pb4a
Added Commandos FS patch for 1.3pb4a
Then installed the 1.2 update over it

It wasn't too hard....
