Can your computer handle larger textures?

[Can use insane textures] My FPS is probably higher than your screen res.

Smaller sizes mean nothing now unless you remove the larger ones from the physical HDD. The images are MipMapped and served the size needed. While I agree on 1024 textures for some situations (EPIC sized items for example) I think 512 is best for common use.

They do look amazing. Driving by a texture that is very detailed and is 1024 x 1024 px is pretty sweet.
