Access Violation @ 0000000h

[ E X C E P T I O N ]
Patch 1.3 PublicBeta1 Feb 28 2004 11:57:13
Type: ACCESS VIOLATION
Info: READIN

Commando

That isn't enough information to determine the problem.  You need to copy everything after [ E X C E P T I O N ].  Were you running FE when you got that AV or what were you running?  Do you have any mods installed in that bz2 directory?  More information is needed than I got an AV.

GSH

If you can't copy the AV info out of the box, then look at the bottom of the battlezone.log file in the same directory as bzone.exe. The AV info should be in there as well. Copy everything from the first ACCESS VIOLATION to the end of the file and post here.

Your initial post wasn't enough to determine what happened. Remember, it's best to err on the side of too much information.

OmegaOPS is the AV reliable?  Do you get it a lot and can you get it to occurr on command?  If you can post how you do it in this thread.  That will help us determine if your installation is bad, or if there is a major bug in 1.3.

Let me Backup and empty .log then I'll try and recreate...

That looks like the AV I get when I try to play FE multiplayer in 1.3.  Are you trying to play any mods when you get that AV, especially FE?  If not, provide detailed steps for reproducing this AV.  It is better to provide extra  useless information than not enough information.  Tell us what mod you launch, if any.  Tell us what buttons you click.  Tell us as much as you can.  Explain it like we never played the game before.

OmegaOPS

I fixed - - after the freash install I copied over some MP Maps so when I exited MP to Main this gave me the exception - I simplily deleted the install and redid it since my 1.2 install is seperate. no more exception - Speaking of FE I hope a 1.3 update is coming :)
