That sound used to be specifically reserved for chatline events ONLY. Now with every button press I am startled by the announcement of someone chatting with me, even in login screens. If it's possible to remove it and yet keep it for chatline events, this will be first thing BZNES 1.3 will address.

I like the thunk, I think.  The volume of it can also be adjusted in the shell.

I've never liked it.  A soft sound is acceptable but this BLUNK noise has always irritated me....

lol ..... you should hear it on my system , it's now Klunk Klick , positively even more annoying .

I addressed that in the private beta section weeks ago.  Anyone remember?  It sounds like a door closing, don't it?  Grrr.   :D
