log of CPU usuage

Does anyone know how to get a log of CPU usage over a few hours, particularly peak values?  Either a Windows function or some little programme.

Now that the mwf is fixed for all players, it makes sense for the server to set it as low as he/she can manage.  When playing FE strat I used to set it to 5 as server and 3 as client (unless something else was agreed in the shell).  So I was playing it safe as server.  In 1.3 I'd like know if my CPU is nearing 100% at any stage, and if it isn't, trying it a notch lower.

When playing any version of battlezone the cpu will always show %100 cpu usage.

The best thing to watch is your fps that is the best guide to how much more your system can handle.
