A commander is identified by the letter C located in either F10, F9 or F8. Would it be possible to create a Field Commander by adding the letters FC as an identification label in F10, F9 or F8? No building capability is required for the Field Commander. To create the field commander, a button would be need with the following text: “Take Field Cmd” and “Give Field Cmd”. This function is to be used in both MPI as well as Strat games.

Usually the commander is busy building its base and the time spent building the base is higher than the time spent on the field. While building his base he has to make sure that he doesn’t run out of pools and to created defenses, the commander has so much to do, that the game is centered on him which can be quite a handful to some. I believe that the commander would want the team to stick together, hence, with a Field Commander identification label; there is someone to go to in the absence of the commander in the field. The FC duties would include obtaining pools if the commander chose to let him handle this aspect and to lead the attack on the enemy base and to allow other players to follow.

This is also useful when a player in your team leaves and a new person enters the game, he would know who to go to when the commander is building in his base. Sometimes the commander might be busy defending the base that he does not have the time to type, that’s when this label would help in some way and the new player would go to the field commander who is attacking the enemy’s base to help him.

Even though it is just 4 players per team, but when a 2 versus 1 situation is encountered, the additional player would make a difference when they are attacking together. In a game where there is 1 commander to take command of 3 person, it would be much easier for 2 different commanders to take control of 2 other player.
