cant play using patch

I just recently patched my game, but now when i start it it tells me there was a hardware acceleration error, and that i should make sure i have directx8 ( i have 9.0c). I used a nocd crack on it so i wouldnt have to worry about losing my cd, so could that have affected it?

the no-cd crack i've got dosen't affect bz2 (1.2) at all, and I doubt it'd change anything for 1.3... but it's always a possibility

I got the crack for version 1.0 though, but ill try downloading the 1.2 crack and see what happens.

edit: 1.2 crack wouldnt patch it (wrong version thing). probably wasnt the issue anyway.

try reinstalling evreything, BZ2, the 1.3 patch...without the no cd and see if it works

Do you have an integrated video card?  SIS630s have issues with bz2 and this has been corrected in the later betas, in theory.  We still haven't been able to test it yet due to none of the testers using those integrated video cards.

yes, i have an intel 82845G graphics controller. Im working with 3danylyze to see if i can fix the problems.

Edit: the built in map editor thing works fine, but my 3danalyze is broken so i dont think i can use it for a workaround. Also im wondering if v1.3 replaced the bzone.exe file. If it didnt that might be part of the problem.
