As far as how good they are, I can't really tell you because I haven't gotten around to playing them yet.

www.bz2md.com has a bunch of live mods (both pre-beta and full-release), most of which are still in development.

I reccomend Steeveeo's Recycler Variant for 1.3pb3...just because I can do shameless plugs
