Battlezone 2 mod error on vista

I have a windows vista, but for some reason, it will only let me play only the original game, and when I install FE, and go to launch it, it launches only battlezone 1.2

Did you give mm5 or febz.exe (whichever you use to launch fe) administrator privileges?
Vista made my hard drive read only and that screwed lots of hoot up.
