Does your meteor have a massive mushroom cloud and big scary shock wave that not only kills things in front of it but leads a torrent us dust and dirt?

Does your meteor keep doing damage after it is good and gone though long term radiation?

Does your meteor have the shear "oh hoot" factor?

General BlackDragon

yes to the first,

no to the second

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!, I cant imagine getting thinked by those chunks, but sadly the nuke leaves no chunks behind, "When it disintegrates, it disintegrates"  :-D

That pic proves the 2 out of 3 status of that Superweapon.

Nielk1

Note, a pb4 version of the nuke will have 'enhancements'

Hmm not quite...

Three things for a superwep:

- Big scary explosion: Not seen
- Big huge damage: Those look still alive...but its still a pic.
- Massive "HOLY hoot" factor: Meh...giant falling debris can be painful...but not quite "HOLY hoot" inducing unless theres a ton in the air.

That looks like what happens when you try to use a 'seismic' class weapon prior to the current beta...  seems like that was the problem, buildings get left in mid air...

OTOH the main result of a 'superweapon' is that any 'after' pictures have to be taken by the alien race that investigates your long-dead civilization some day in the far future...

I think that, while disintegration is quite nice, distortion of time and space is slightly more advanced.  Also, the weapon would kill everything, but it has the side effect of pushing everything so much that nothing remains close enough to be destroyed.

There is a big explosion, it lasts a few minutes, and the buildings aren't falling, they are floating, which is why I said time and space distortion :P
